STARTER
It's the first day of school after the Autumn Break. Lessons will begin again and everyone is already planning for the upcoming Christmas prom. Outside the sun is shining, but it's only 15 degrees. Everyone is arriving at the school to attend their classes. Have fun!

Ky • Nineteen • Musician • On the parking lot

Just like everyone else I hate Mondays. I hate getting out of bed after two days of sleeping in and especially after a week of sleeping in. Unfortunately I have no choice so I roll out of bed and with a very sleepy head, I grab my clothes from the chair. My whole room is covered with sheet music, study books and clothes. The only thing neat are the several guitars hanging on the wall. My precious collection. I pull my clothes on and almost walk against the doorpost while making my way downstairs. Silence tells me that my parents already headed out for work and that Myah is probably still in bed. I grab a bowl and get myself some cereal. While eating I quickly text Zachary - my boyfriend.

Why are you not here in this very difficult time of having to get up early? See you at school? xx Ky

Still looking sleepily I walk upstairs. Myah's door is still closed so I decide to knock on it as to wake her. When there is still no sign of her after I've brushed my teeth and packed my bag and guitar, I open the door.
      'My, it's Monday. Get up. You need to go to school.' I tell my sister before closing the door again and walking downstairs. I know that I will be way too early if I head out now, but I might be able to catch Zachary before class starts. I take my black motorbike out of the garage and hop on it before driving away. When I arrive at the school it's still way too early. I park my motorbike and look around for someone I recognize, but I figure most people won't be arriving until five minutes before school starts. I eventually sit down on one of the low walls in front of the school. While I pull out a cigarette, I wait for my boyfriend to arrive.

SYDEN ARA EMERSON

It was monday morning. Better known as hell on earth. High School was the place not to be, atleast not for me. Being a weirdo had more disadvantages than advantages. Many people disliked me, not because I was a horrible person - but because I "would ruin their imago if we talked" as many told me when I asked.  On my way to the living area of the house, realising everyone else in this household left already. Probably to avoid me, since I wasn't the most fun person to be around in the mornings.

I grabbed some food from the kitchen, not really paying attention what it was exactly. I was getting late - and since today was one of the rare days my best friend and one of the most rebellious people from Melrose High, Vanx, decided to go to school. She was slapping the claxon, annoying everybody living in this area. "Really Vanx?" I sighed. "Could you not?" I grabbed my bag from a chair and I ran out of the house, slamming the door shut behind me. I got in her car and she drove away to school, where for six hours my eyes would burn from seeing all the people I did not like.

08:00 - My breakfast smells funny, but it isn't funny: no fruit left for in my yoghurt.
08:03 - I really would like to have new All Stars.

08:07 - Seeing my present that i bought for Kyros. Awh yeah, thats why. I really look forward to the look on his face when he gets this ow so weird but ow so awesome present. Hehe.

08:50 - After i've parked my bike i walk towards the walls in front of the school. I see Kyros sitting, lighting an sigaret. 'Hey!' i shout. 'Mondays look better with some Daft Punk on you're ears you know, why that sad face? reality hits you hard?'

Just when I see Zachary walking - or half dancing - onto the parking lot, Syden passes.
      'Hey, Syden,' I say as a matter of greeting. 'How are you?' I say and give her a sweet smile. Zachary comes closer and I wave at him, feeling my heart beat a little faster. I put away my cigarette to take a better look at my boyfriend. Man, he looks hot.
      'Hey!' he shouts. 'Mondays look better with some Daft Punk on you're ears you know, why that sad face? reality hits you hard?' he says. I chuckle and blush violently red.
      'Yeah.. I guess you could say that,' I say softly and walk to him. I stand on my tiptoes and kiss him softly on the cheek. 'Goodmorning Zach. Had a nice weekend? I did... especially after friday night.' I chuckle again and wrap my arms around his neck as to kiss him better. When I pull back I look around at Syden. 'Shall we go inside? To our lockers?'

Cheerleader and the Queen of Melrose High

Monday! It's the first day of the week and one of the most important days! School needs me.. So I'm getting up really early and take a look in the mirror. Next to my mirror there's a note, that shows me the rules of being a cheerleader in Melrose High (written by myself of course  ).. I'm reading it out loud to myself and then text it to my bff Dena, like I do every
monday morning. Just to remember the important things in life.

Rules of being the best cheerleader

- Understand the importance of attention to detail.

- Take your time to think things through in order to make the

  right decision.

- Be accurate, organized and have a high style of fashion.

- Be to the point and solve problems with 'action', not just 'talk'.

- Stick to your promises and expect others not to break their

  promises.

- Be the center of attention.

- Carry yourself with sophistication, class and confidence.

Now i'm totally ready to begin the day!

I'm sending Nathan a message:

'"Best boyfriend in the world, did you sleep well?? I miss you! See you at school, don't be late! I want to give you a little surprise <3. Love you! Ps. Will you wear someting blue today? I want to wear my blue dress, so we can match ".

Now what will I do with my hair today? I think maybe a nice and cute braid, that will look fabolous with my blue dress! 

My make-up needs to be natural, so I take my foundation, lip gloss, eye liner, blush, mascara and what so ever to put on my lovely face and.. Voila. There's my absolutly gorgeous little queen, ready for her monday at school.

Monday morning... great. I've got this terrible headache, but I really can't miss footballtraining today, so yeah I can't stay in bed. 
I step out of bed, do my every-morning-sit-ups and wink at myself in the mirror. Despite of the headache, I look quite good. 
Oh! A message from my girlfriend Jacelyn, the hottest cheerleader in school with this amazing looking ass. She's got a surprise for me today, well that lightens my headache a little bit. She also asks me to wear blue. I don't know why on earth you should make such a deal out of wearing the same colors, but well, blue looks good on me so why bother. 

After I spend about 20 minutes fixing my hear it's time for breakfast: a protein shake to keep my muscles impressive enough for the girls to look at. 
I take a quick look at the picture of me wearing my footballshirt, it's printed out and framed so everyone can watch it when standing in the kitchen. 'Cause that's how I like it: NATHAN COLE PARKER - KING OF THE EAGLES AND MELROSE HIGH.

SYDEN ARA EMERSON

As soon as I set a step on the parking lot, I hear a familiar voice greeting me. It was Kyros. I look up and I greet him back with a faint smile. Or should I talk back? "Hey Ky," I eventually say. "I am good, how are you?" I ask, not planning on having a further conversation about my life. Not much later Zachary walks towards us, Ky's lover. Awesome. I give Zachary a faint smile also, not planning on greeting him. As soon they start the loveydovey talk I realise it's my time to go.
    "I think.. I should bett-" I want to say, but Ky feels the need to kiss Zachary right in front of my face. I raise one eyebrow and I look around, how much of a third wheeler do I look like right now? When Ky turns around to ask if we should go inside, to the lockers, I shrug. "I'll go myself, thanks," I say and I walk away to the entrance of the school. Alone. 
    I mean, I already am a weirdo - and not that that bothers me - and walking next to these two who look like they literally die when they don't touch each other doesn't do my already low status not much good.
